We are pleased to announce the showing of Gene Dougherty's latest works.
The latest recipient of the Governor's Art Award, Gene is known for his paintings in watercolor and oil. This show focuses on the many species of wildlife found in Oklahoma; including horses, buffalo, quail, turkey, and cattle. Landscapes are another area where Gene excels.
Dougherty's "Oklahoma's Wild West" paintings will be as popular with artists and art collectors statewide as his work he's been producing for decades!
The opening reception for Dougherty's show "Oklahoma's Wild West" will be Friday, May 6, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. and will be hanging through the Paseo Arts Festival, Memorial Day weekend.
